I must congratulate Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Centre for the good work they do to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses. Please allow me to take you back to the recently concluded 11th #G20 Summit, held on September 3-4 in the beautiful city of Hangzhou, China's paradise on earth. The world will certainly cheer if the policy measures adopted at the summit, prove successful in revitalizing a slowing global economy. Anybody would wish to see tangible measures taken to tap into the enormous entrepreneurial energy that is coming up from different regions of the world. The worst that can happen is to break the spirit of imagination and innovation, these entrepreneurs continue to display if governments the world over, do nothing to encourage local and international entrepreneurship. ReplyDeleteI usually tell people WHY they should learn a foreign language rather than WHAT language they should learn. It's not until they discover the hidden benefits of doing so, can they show interest. That's the starting point. By learning a language, l help people find a job and /or optimize their business profits. Many (l can't quote the exact figure) have either relocated or expanded their business through empowerment from a foreign language. That's my goal, of turning challenges into opportunities. ReplyDeleteThe unbridled bigotry of one Kim Jong-un , North Korean leader , can be a real threat to international peace and security. The two world wars are traced to similar course of events where rogue nations would brag anyhow and do anything unabated. The worst that can happen is for the major world powers to sit down and watch the unfolding events hands down. History , it is said , repeats itself. But this is not one that can be allowed to happen when one knows the perpetrators of supremacy wars are not the only ones who pay the price for their actions. Their supporters and perceived enemies do, and in equal measure. The world leaders must wake up to this reality by doing whatever it takes to avert a looming danger. There is very little, if anything at all has been done, to guarantee peace in the Korean peninsula. All we hear are accusations and counter-accusations about issues that should have long been resolved by those concerned. The six parties involved in negotiations should realize time is running time for round table talks. Can everybody root for lasting solution to what has come to be known as the Korean problem, and bring about mutual trust and goodwill to ensure peace and security prevails in this otherwise highly volatile region?
